Rain and winds


A little rain doesn't hurt, but the combination of rain and hard wind may hamper visibility. Likewise, thunderstorms are a valid resson to refrain from riding a bike. Depending on the weather, a trip may need to be moved in time or space so that all guests can participate with confidence and feel safe. It is always the guide/leader of the respective activity that determines whether this activity has to be entirely cancelled or modified.

RIDE WITH A GUIDE

On our guided bike tours you experience old cultural roads and quarries, industrial environments, rock carvings and other ancient remains. The guide tells about the daily lives of mankind in the past and puts what we see in its historical context. Because there are few separate bicycle paths outside the urban areas, it is also nice to ride a bike with a guide who knows when it's time to dismount the bike.

The tempo is moderate and we make detours to visit sights along the way

Our tour guides love to share the best kwe know, the beautiful nature of Bohuslän: the rocks, the sea, the fjords, the coves and the varied landscape of mixed forests and granite hills that invite you to different types of climbing. With us, you experience the best of Bohuslän, the food, the people and one of the world's most beautiful archipelagos.


URBAN  Lysekil:

Stenhuggaren (Cobbler/Stone Mason)- 2 h in central city and out to Stångehuvud Nature Reserve
Sillkärringar and industrial workers (private tour) 2h or 3h


NATURE  Start in Lysekil:

We have a limited number of mountain bikes for rental. They are to be booked online. Bikes without a reservation (rental or activities) for the day, may be rented on site. However, we strongly recommend booking online to be safe. Please note our limited opening hours, even during high season. Online booking closes 4 hrs prior to rental commences. Wednesdays we use the MTBs for special activities/tours etc. Daily rental only (=no multi-day-discounts) Please note the limited number of bikes in each size. If there are no bikes left in a particular size, please select adjecent size - or select another day. How to book: 1) Select day when You would like to pick upp your rental bike: 2) Select pick up and return TIME closest to your convenience 3) Select t Size: S = 160-170 cm M = 168-179 cm L = 176-188 cm If no your favourite size is not available - it has already been booked. Please try another time or day. 4) Add contact information and phone for at least one contact person in a group. 5) Check out your basket ( secure payment solution powered by TrekkPay) and complete the payment of your reservation. 6) Bring receipt/email confirmation/ ticket to our kayak and bike ware house at #6, Norra Hamngatan in Lysekil.
