When winds are too strong for beginners to padle on the coast north of Lysekil, we will relocate the activity further inland, to sheltered waters. You’ll still find yourself in “Wilderness light”, after only a few minutes of paddling, as this trip runs in a sparesly populated area.
Learn more about herring (Clupea harengus) and its importance to the Bohuslan region in the past - and enjoy an open-air herring meal trying out different flavours.

Families with youth and children can book the family kayak tour Seafood à la granite.(4hrs) or City paddling (2.5 hrs) or a Private tour that is tailored to your wishes.
Please come 10-15 minutes before starting time to validate tickets and fill out necessary paperwork.
After a safety demonstration the guide will assist you in fitting the equipment.
When kayaks have been launched and everyone is seated you will have an introduction to basic paddle techniques.
The guide will stop at regual intervals for a rest and to tell you about the fishermen and the marine life.
After aproximately 1 hour of paddling we will hop out or the kayaks to strech our legs and you will be served an outdoor meal.
Upon returning you will feel energized and more confident in the kayak, and the guide can assist you in improving your paddle skills.
After placing the kayaks on the rack we end the tour with some stretching and a smile.
We have planned the tour so that previous experience of kayaking is not necessary. Safety, comfort and enjoyment are our guiding principles as we plan and implement our tours. In the winter months, the pace is even slower to avoid sweating, thus getting cold.
