ECORIDE 7-speed e-bikes can be rented during a morning session, evening session or a full day. We do not offer over night rentals due to the increased risk of theft. 
An e-bike will let you enjoy the ride in almost the same speed as a fairly trained cyclist - and going uphill will be to your advantage. By using the apropriate gear/speed you can make the battery last up to 80 kms.

E-BIKE:
ECORIDE Ambassador, 7-speed equipped with the EcoRide Drive System with a hub motor on the front wheel. Front basket and rear AVS platform for all your carrying needs. Lights, hydraulic hand break and rear foot break.


All equipment rental has to be booked online - minimum 2 hours in advance. Pick up and return during our regular opening hours, or by appointment.

  • If you are not able to book, there are no more available bikes. please select other day or time of day.

3) Check out your basket ( secure payment solution powered by TrekkPay) and complete the payment of your reservation.

4) Bring receipt/email confirmation/ ticket to our kayak and bike shack at #6, Norra Hamngatan in Lysekil. Map and travel instructions below.

  • You will find us a 10 minutes walk from bus stop: Lysekil Södra Hamnen. Västtrafik, bus 841 from Gothenburg/Uddevalla.
  • Local bus 853 to bus stops Gamlestan or Norra Hamnen. (You will find us between these to stops)
  • Plan your trip with regional and local buses: Västtrafik  (buses 851, 852 and 854 may also work)

Highlights

  • 7 speed/gears with foot break (rear) and hand break (front wheel).
  • Unisex/Ladies bikes = net to prevent long clothes jamming the spokes.
Recommended routes:
  1. Lyse peninsula by the Brofjorden with Kolleröds badplats/beach and Marina with restaurant and minigolf
  2. Gullmarsskogen Nature reserve and Lyse parish along the Gullmaren fjord
  3. Rock carvings in Backa (Brastad) and Brodalen
  4. Bokenäs gamla kyrka (medieval church of Bokenäs parish), Northern Orust, Malö-Ängön, Skaftö (full day)
  5. Skaftö runt - take ferry across the Gullmarsfjord and tour the island of Skaftö
Please note that there is a limited space available for bikes on board the ferry (called Carl Wilhelmsson) across Gullmarsfjorden. If so, you may have to wait 40-60 minutes for the next departure. Time table, linje #847.
