Bike rental in Lysekil

We have a limited number of bikes for rental. They are to be booked online.

Bikes without a reservation (rental or activities) for the day, may be rented on site. However, we strongly recommend booking online to be safe. Furthermore we do charge an invoicing fee for rentals without previous reservations. Please note our limited opening hours, even during high season.


Please note the limited number of bikes in each category. If there are no bikes left in a category, please select another category - or select another day.

How to book:

1) Select day when You would like to pick upp your rental bike:

2) Select pick up and return TIME closest to your convenience
3) Choose between 3 or 21 speed/gears.

4) Add contact information and phone for at least one contact person in a group.

5) Check out your basket ( secure payment solution powered by TrekkPay) and complete the payment of your reservation.

6) Bring receipt/email confirmation/ ticket to our kayak and bike ware house at #6, Norra Hamngatan in Lysekil. Map below.

TYP AV CYKLAR

  • 3 växlar med lyse, fotbroms och handbroms
  • 7 växlar med lyse, fotbroms och handbroms
  • Dessutom har vi ett litet antal udda modeller junior-cyklar (MEN vänligen observera att det inte är lämpligt att cykla i Lysekil med barn under 12 år,  då de flesta  cykelbanor i centrum inte är separerade från  övrig trafik.)

Highlights

  • 3 speed/gears with foot break (rear) and hand break (front wheel).
  • Ladies bikes = net to prevent long clothes jamming the spokes.
  • 21 speed/gears with hand breaks (front and rear wheels). 51 cm frame or 48 cm (youth/short adults).
  • Family bikes 21 speed/gears for one adult and 1-2 children 8 yrs or younger.
  • And a few odd models and childrens bikes.

Tour suggetions:

  1. Lyse peninsula by the Brofjorden with Kolleröds badplats/beach
  2. Gullmarsskogen Nature reserve and Lyse parish along the Gullmaren fjord
  3. Rock carvings in Backa (Brastad) and Brodalen
  4. Bokenäs gamla kyrka (medieval church of Bokenäs parish), Northern Orust, Malö-Ängön, Skaftö (full day)
  5. Skaftö runt - take ferry across the Gullmarsfjord and tour the island of Skaftö
Please note that there is a limited space available for bikes on board the ferry (called Carl Wilhelmsson) across Gullmarsfjorden. If so, you may have to wait 40-60 minutes for the next departure. Time table, linje #847.
